Cut out the compartment door from 0.2" instrument panel foam and 1 x BID over the inboard side
Taped up the light compartment and layed up 3 x BID inside to form the base that I will mount the light to, overlapping 3/4" with the inboard wall and the outboard flange.
Backed up the flange with a flox fillet at the base and 2 x BID tape from the flange to the outboard inner skin.
Feeling frisky, so cut out the gascolator mount inside the NACA.
