Brief Description:  Strake fairing blocks & landing light

Trimmy, trimmy, all OK.

Rough cut landing light aperture.

Removed false rib and cleaned off bondo. Removed all blue wing foam, and profiled the rest a bit.

Trial fitted light, and swiftly came to the conclusion that the hatch in the bottom of the strake just won't work. Or it might, and I don't want to do it that way. Figger it will be neater to access from a removable end rib, with the light fixed in a cradle, and use my BMW mirror pointer to fine tune aim with the wing on. The aim will be to have a 3mm jack to aim the light laterally, and a panel switch to aim it up an down.

Cut some paper templates to line the light pocket.
