Levered the cover off and trimmed. All OK. Fitted temporarily with cleco, sheet metal screws intended.
The foam form was destroyed on removal, making it really easy, but preventing reuse. Hmmmmm. Found it really useful, so whilst foam and saw are to hand cut some more sheets of 1/4" and 1/2" for later use.
