Brief Description: Cowling nutplates

Instal remaining cowling nutplates for the bottom lip, trailing edge and hinge pin buttons. After trying many variations, and considering both sized nutplates, this is my method. Drill pilot hole through both parts and secure with a cleco. Continue untill all drilled or I run out of cleco. Drill out 3/16" Place nutplate with a black cleco, (on the right f^&king part) Drill 3/32" rivet holes & remove nutplate. Drill nutplate hole to 7/32" & screw hole to 13/64". (If I stick to 3/16" they just don't seem to work) Counter sink rivet and screw holes, (on the right f&%king side), debur others Place rivets through holes, place nutplate on rivets, and secure nutplate with narrow locking pliers over the center. Squeeze rivets.
