Broke off lower cowling, and trimmed all. All lovely.
Drilled out cleco sites and refitted upper and lower cowls. Lower cowl will have to be happy with cleco for the moment, I've run out of nutplates.
I can't use the flange as indicated in the plans aft of the exhaust as it would make removing the plenum difficult, so decide to match this area up with a hinge, as done for RV cowlings and others. Cut some hinges and experiment with concepts. Liked what I saw and secured with cleco.
