Brief Description:
Engine mount painting
3 thin coats of rattle-can white acrylic over both mounts.
Drilled a small hole in my interconnected mount and injected 15ml of linseed oil. Resealed with 5 min flox and painted over result.
My mount needs reaming to fit the actual firewall bolts, but made some temporary ones that fit through the un-reamed mounts from 3/8" threaded rod.
Put some levelling pads over the top mounts tapered 7 x UND, and a couple of plies to make the bottom ones perfect.
