Brief Description:  Cowling lip

Yesterdays layup all lovely.

Stuck for something to do in CH21, and putting the lower lip on was fresh in my memory, so hot glued some 2 x 2" wing foam blocks, with a channel routed in the back for the vent lines onto the firewall, Less gap here, so no slivers required.

Protected the turtleback with duct tape and shaped the blocks to match, and box taped the result. Prepped the turtleback glass, and cut some 4" tapes for the layup.

Shaped the 'aethetic pieces' made 7 years ago to fit their sites, and to fit around the vent lines, and hot glue some tabs onto them for location.

Marked up the bottom lip for trimming. Plans say 1/4" wider than the lip on the cowling, which measures as 1 1/4", making a total of 1 1/2".
