Cut up some tapes for the starboard strake bulkheads.
You may have noticed a few gaps in the build lately, that is because I BOUGHT AN ENGINE!
I put an 'engines wanted' ad in Aviation-Trader magazine and recieved some nice replies, including a lovely bloke from Bendigo who is rationalising some of his projects. I got a very clear Lycoming O-360A2A that has sat in its box for 9 years after overhaul in the USA. Two slick mags, new ECI cylinders and a bag of receipts. I checked the innards with a borescope, and it all just looks new. Very pleased. It needs a fuel pump, but it at least has the mount for one.
I made the plans engine stand and am now contemplating getting it out of the crate.
