Brief Description: Canopy hinge hard point disaster recovery
Trimmed some more, and found a gaping cavity around the flox/BID hardpoint. Strangely, the hardpoint looks OK. Now is when I figger out the blue crap is melted foam. The resin is all still in the hardpoint, it is just 1/8" proud of where it should be due to the expanding foam pushing at it.
Cut away all affected foam, and cut off a bit more than 1/8" from the hinge pad with the multitool, and sand roughly flat.
Cut glass for a repair and the other pad.
Vow to use slow hardener for any massive layup in the future, even on a cold day.
