Brief Description:  Turtleback bulkhead and driprail

Made a test piece yesterday attaching some foam to a scrap piece of glassed foam to replicate the drip rail attach. I used 5 min epoxy (plans), hot glue and urethane bond. Today I broke off the foam, and hot glue and urethane performed better than the 5 min epoxy, failing in the foam. Applied duct tape forward of cut line, hot glued drip rail foam to Turtleback inner skin and applied duct tape again over the top, forward of the cutline.

Opened a new batch of hardener, MGS H287 batch 70249.

2 x BID at 90 degrees over TB-1 with 1 x UND along bottom rail, both sides with peel ply and weighted for cure.

1 x BID at 45 degrees, (not specified in the plans, but it seems reasonable), 1 x UND along drip rail, then 1 x BID at 45 degrees over. All three plies wet out in short lengths on peel ply, then transferred, with 1" overlaps, staggered 1".

Fought another grass fire, then cut some tapes for installing TB-1. Note I left the camera running again whilst away.
