Removed clamps and am generally pleased with the result. There a couple of areas that 'tin-can' outwards, and where this happens the fibrefrax has de-laminated from the metal. Hmmmmm.
Clean off hot glue blobs with chisel and adhesive smears with a rag soaked in metho.
Started to fit remaining cowling cleco and am astounded to discover that despite getting the same part number as last time the new cleco are DIFFERENT! The holes are the same size, but the mounting flange is longer. It makes them MUCH easier to install, but I worry about future replacement. I will have to figger out how to get the older ones and keep a supply of both. Grrrrr.
