Brief Description: Rudder Installation - hinge pads
Applied extra packing layers to Winglet hinge pads; Root - 2 x UNI 1 x BID Mid - 2 x BID Tip - 1 x BID 1 x UNI.
After watching a Doug Arnold Youtube tried wetting out the plies between layers of 4mil plastic. Was fantastically quick to wet out, easy to mark up and trim, but massive disturbance of plies when transferring. Maybe try combination of plastic & peel ply, but so far peel ply works better for transfer as far as I am concerned.
Broke my tripod, so missing some pictures, and spent some time in a rough repair.
Cleaned up right Winglet cove.
