Started to work on figguring out the Winglet jigging. Checked my Aileron changes hadn't changed the reference point, then superglued some cut-off flat-head nails in this position. Tried measuring with the tape and they fell off. Re-fitted with 5-min epoxy and left for tomorrow.
Measured the 4" from the leading edge position for the winglet leading edge with a T-square with a bubble level on it
Had bought some filament tape and tried measuring with it. Farking disaster. Then noticed my long fibreglass quilting tape measure hanging on its hook and tried that. Brilliant! It isn't as accurate as the steel tape, so marked the salient positions. Before the nails fell off I had noted the Winglet tip sits 0.15" outboard from the Wing tip. Hmmmm. Hot glue a mixing stick to the Wing, with the corner indicating where the Winglet goes.
