Brief Description:  Winglet core prep

Straight into a controversy. Two diagrams on page 20-01 show a winglet of two different heights. I think I have mentioned this before in this rant, but the core I have discarded has been cut to suit the right part of fig.1, which means it is 1" too short to use for the measurements on the left half. Hmmmmmmm. The right half says the TE of the upper winglet is 47" long, The left half indicates the TE is 40" for the rudder and 9" for the fixed part of the fin above the rudder, minus the the diagonal part of the 1" cap, which means the TE should be about 48".

If I use 48" the angle will change the sweep between winglet tip and the root of the upper winglet from 9.26" to 9.46".

Decided to use the actual left half of the diagram as the master depiction, and scale the observed measurements to correct the displayed ones.

Marked up the table to match the above plan, 9.5" sweep, 48" along the TE.

Marked up the plans to suit my master plan. Changes:

Winglet tip to tip of rudder - 9.8"
TE of rudder in upper Winglet - 39.1"
Tip of middle hinge to tip of lower hinge - 17.25"
Root of middle hinge to c/l of rudder return tube - 11"
