Brief Description: Winglet cores and pilot thigh supports
Had a visitor in the shop contemplating building a Cozy, [Timewarp next week: He's ordered the plans! WTG Chris!] Not ready to start the Shear Web layup, and thought it would be amusing to do one, and hot wire something.
Hot wired a winglet, have now read that I am not mad and have confirmed the FAQ says the "right" and "left" are backwards on the template. Sheesh! Next time will jig it upside down, so the foam cores will support the first layup. It is going to be complicated for the first one.
1 x BID over the front seat thigh supports.
Talked aeroplanes for a while, then farewelled Chris as he completes a 'Honey-do' and meets SWMBO for lunch.
After a break removed the FWD wing jigs and foam block joining nails.
Routed the joins in the Shear Web area on the cores with the Dremel.
Cut access holes and prepared sites for LWA4
Placed nylon drain tube with 5min flox corners.
Roughed out the foam for LWA6, [Timewarp 31JAN: ...on the wrong side! Because that was the side it was on last time! F*&k!!!]
