Brief Description:  Right Wing top skin prep/Aileron hardware

Care package from Aircraft Spruce is here, after I spent a few days off sick return to the project. Fitted nyloflow tube to wing, positioning with toothpicks, and backfilled with dry micro.

Discovered my silly error with the steel Aileron pushrods. They are all 1/2" too long because I read the part sizes as the length to cut the tubing, rather than the total length when rod ends are installed. Disassembled one tube and cut to correct length.

Note that the BC4W10 bearings supplied by aircraft spruce have a 7/8" housing rather than 3/4" as shown in the plans. Note the CG Products version has this bearing, and after consulting the email forum, drill out and chamfer the bellcranks to fit the bearing housing. Drilled and reamed for 1/8" rivets and trial assembled. Not game to fire up the rivet squeezer yet. I've had it for 2.5 years and never used it!

Go and watch some EAA videos about rivet squeezing, and specifications for the shop head.
