Brief Description: Forward control bearings/Rudder pulleys
Rough trimmed, and removed bearing with difficulty. What worked was drilling the top of the housing with a 22mm spade bit until there was only a thin layer of glass remaining, then driving out the bearing with a socket. Drilled out the baseplate to match and trimmed until pretty.
I made a 5mm long collar to pack out CS-106, and sanded until it fitted with no end play. This all packs out the aileron torque tubes 0.7mm aft, which was enough to foul the CS-107 bolt shanks. Trimmy, trimmy. Bolting the assemblies into position revealed my CS-109 were not terribly square. They didn't have to be for my spherical bearings, but my crap work is revealed again. Smooth action is achieved with a washer under each outboard tab, so I remove all and apply a tapered 6 x BID pad to the back of the backing plate.
I've had the rudder pulleys for a long while this is the first time I have assembled them all. Did so, and bolted them to a flat form to check clearances and they all look good.
