Brief Description:  NG-30 / MKNG-6 Doublers

Sanded aluminium for the doublers.

Prepared Template for NG-30. This took a bit more thought than I expected. To locate the needed holes for my Ez Noselift I made a paper template of the NG-51 needed for the manual installation. This gives me the centre hole location omitted from the side view and needed both sides for the Lekky Lift, and helped me to identify the lower holes not required.

It was obvious to me that access to the limit switches on the Lekky Lift is limited with the original plans NG-30, and prevented by the high-centred version from CN86. Jack recommended leaving the profile as shown in the original plans, and adding the UNI from CN86, but I think it will still get in the way. I have decided to proceed with the CN86 version, leaving room for the remote brake reservoir on the face of F5, and with portholes cut for adjustment of the limit switches.

Made note to enlarge the rudder pedal holes to 5/8" for the larger tubes of the Oelmann carry-throughs. To use a 5/8" bushing I would have to grind off the lovely paint finish, and I won't do that. In case it is a problem I will make a hard point around them like those for mounting the Noselift.
