Brief Description: Starboard cooling exhaust plenum
Over the week I keep visualising what I want, and revise the plans a bit, and incorporate an angled section to creat a flat bit over the spark plugs. The bung hole will be big enough to get a plug spanner in, and leave room inside the cowling for the plug leads, and be sealed with a 30mm sealing grommet. That is the plan anyhow.
I sawed up some 1/2" pine board into 3mm thick sticks, and hot glue them to the form to pack out the shape I want. Check that this fits inside the top cowling, and adjust the trailing edge until it fits in the cowling exit. Break result off the engine, then patch the sides where the cylinder/pushrods/heads stick through.
Cover the result with box tape then 3 x UND @ 90/45 overall, with 1 x UND crossways over the top, extending 1" over the sides, with peel plied edges.
