Brief Description:  Rudder cable terminations

Dropped my franken-engine mount jig off at the welder today, and spent some time ogling Dave B's awesome round-the-world contender.

Note that his rudder cables ends outside the swages are neatly covered with heatshrink and are not frayed. Mine are not covered by heatshrink and are frayed horribly and make a scratchy noise at full deflection. I was under the impression you are not supposed to cover the ends, so any slipping in the swage can be seen, but research indicates this is bollocks.

Take an EAA tip into account as well, and re-do my rudder cables. First, insert the cable into my drill, hold it away from drill with pliers, and heat the cable with a torch. When red hot turn on the drill and it heat welds the end. Lovely! Tried to make a video of the technique but the sound was hopely. Also means I don't have good pictures either... I'll be doing the inboard soon, so I'll try again.

Reterminate the ends, and refit the cables.
