Brief Description:  Brake covers/Main gear fairings

Trimmed layup and redrilled.

It was always my intention to secure the top of the brake cover to the gear leg with sheet metal screws, so installed a couple, and realise they should be stainless steel, and countersunk. Mmmmmm.

40g prep sanded the inside and outside of the gear leg, and the brake cover around the upper attachment screws. Taped up the brake cover where I don't want it filled and reinstalled, with small sections of hot glue sticks glued to the upper attachment screws. Hot glued 1/16" plastic packers at the relevant join lines.

As much as I could with the starboard wheel on, profiled the upper gear leg fill.

Applied a nice dry fill around the top attachment screws, to profile the inner leg and fill the low spot on the outer. No pics of this, the camera battery died.
