Finished profiling canard bottoms, and patch filled some divots and giant pinholes.
Had an idea for covers for the access holes in the wings and centerspar, and was trying to put tape on a sheet of glass when my wife wandered in and suggested using baking paper instead. "What is baking paper?" I enquire. She informs me it is paper with some sort of wax in it. I recall something about wax paper in the plans, an item I had not been able to source and had forgotten about.
I grasp the opportunity to try it out, raid the kitchen for baking paper, and layup 2 x carbon BID, with 1 x 4oz either side, between sheets of glass with baking paper taped to it. Weighted for cure. [Timewarp tomorrow: Design is refined a bit]
