Brief Description: Wing/centerspar seal

Was chatting with Les Laidlaw on the awesome Canard Zoom session, (I'm not a regular, as it is their Friday night drinking time, it is my Saturday morning building time, locked as I am into Monday-Friday work at the tail-end of my ATC career). He indicated that if you just bung foam into the gap between the wing and centerspar you do not end up with a straight line.
Following his lead, I glue some slivers of foam to the forward face of the wing so that it is a straight line top and bottom. The slivers are 3/8" tall. A bit more shaping and filletting, prep sanding, taping off the wing bolt bushes, then 2 x 4oz tapes overall, overlapping 1/2" onto wing skin and shear web.
I do note that despite the line being straight, it will not match the line of the cowling lip. Ah well... Despite this, I find this looks lovely enough that I will do it for the other joins.
