Brief Description:  Setting the frikken edge gaps around the nose

Finished adjusting all the gaps to 1/8", using sandpaper wrapped around or glued to thin bits of carbon fibre, and think they look unspeakable!

Replace 1/16" packers in ALL the gaps, intending refill. [Timewarp dec21: Have decided the 1/8" gap would be lovely anywhere where a gap would be permanently hidden with RTV or tape, and 1/16" would look good everywhere else].

Start to fit plastic packers to the sides of the canopy frame and note the overlap port and starboard is not the same. Did I mark this with a crayon??? Investigation reveals they are indeed different, so I remove the canopy frame, remark the fuselage where I want the overlap to go to, make a parallel mark 10mm below this, then refit the canopy and transfer the line using the 10mm line as a guide. Re-trim and re eyeball adjust.

Refit the canopy frame and secure with forward locating pins and hot glue blocks aft. Reapply plastic packers around the edge, secured with hot glue blocks.

Just for fun, prep sand and fill the leading edge of the canopy frame top and the starboard canard top
