Brief Description:  Canopy and canard lips

Removed canard and trimmed the F28 and canard cover lips to an initial 1/2" from F28. Initially carefully guard the lower lip with a broadknife, then decide that the lower lip need be no bigger than the higher, so cut to match. Refit the canard and now realise the F28 lip should extend to the edge of the fillet. Doh! Prep sand everything, with the outboard tape edge tapered.

Leave the fuselage top lip as it is at the moment, as I want to layup the turtleback lip first.

Extended the F28 lip to the edge of the fillet with 6 x UND cut at 45 degrees, with plies crossing at 90 degrees, (from henceforth called "UND tape @ 45/90"). 1st ply overlaps 1", and each subsequent 1/4" shorter. Peel plied.

Installed turtleback cutline lip, 6 X UND @ 45/90 directly onto work, and peel plied. May have been easier with nose gear retracted, but stood on the port strake instead for the tricky bit. Filled a couple of divots and a bubble with wet flox, and 2 x BID tapes over the aft bottom corner.
