Brief Description: Main gear fairings and heatshield
Trimmy, trimmy, all OK.
Did this side a bit differently. Rather than digging slivers of modelling clay out of the acute angle, shaped the form for the fillet the same, then dug out a flox corner where it meets the aft face of the gear leg. Hot glued some bits of plastic on the cover flange and taped up everything. Used filament tape anywhere a fillet was required.
2 x BID over all, with another 2 x BID over the cover mounting flange. All plies overlap the leg and peel plied.
