Brief Description:  Canopy frame/canard cover

Trimmed the canard blocks to fit F28 and the rear canard tabs. Started looking at the loft line for the transition, and am not altogether happy with what I see.

Trying to get my head around fairing the canard cover and the fuselage top into the nose and decide to make up the plans templates. Reading the instructions I am astounded to discover the following regarding template BL0: "...when using, make sure you have increased the height of F-28 to 4" as instructed in CN #36" My 3rd edition plans are supposed to incorporate all newsletters up to #75, and my M4 shows this new profile indicating is is for "a more pleasing curve". I don't much like the REALLY rounded nose that seems universal on modern Longez, and went for the old flat version. Now they seem to be saying it is mandatory. Hmmmmm. Staying with the flat, and modified BL0 to suit.

Had to modify the others as well, FS41 is stock, but FS50 has longer legs to straddle the side window. FS60 has cut-outs for the strake nose. I made port and starboard FS70 for a closer match each side, to sit on top of the strakes.

Still not a lot of clarity on how to proceed, but have stepped up activities to procure a canopy.
