Brief Description:  Strake fuel blisters

Trimmed inside layups, removed flashing/tape starboard side, removed old fuselage flange and all foam port side, and layed up 2 x BID tapes over both on the outside. 1 x 4oz over the inner tapes, wetly applied with EZpoxy.

Strikes me that action is required on siting my gascolator, as it will be easier to do the external cut with the fuselage upside down. Make a test piece, and refine the method, as the instructions assume you have made a boring aeroplane out of bits of bent tin.

Had made a wobbly first attempt at a fuel cap recess form, one of which I destroyed in a test piece. I just found it too difficult to keep the thing piece square in my dodgy lathe. Occurs to me if I make a blank long bit to space the work it will be easier to keep square. Give it a go and produce two servicable forms.
