Brief Description:  Turnover, and strake lower skin prep

At midnight we go into COVID-19 stage 3 lockdown, so no visitors for 6 weeks! Rustled up a couple of friends, and Viki and I turnover the plane. Neil held a rope slung around the nose and stood 'above' the plane, Carol and Viki held a rope to the nosewheel fork, 'under' the plane. I raised the nose until the D thingies contacted the ground, then with Neil hauling on the rope and me pushing from below and the women preventing it from going over the balance point we raised it until it was a smidge over vertical and everybody could balance it with the ropes. I then switched sides, and everybody on the ropes shuffled around until Neil was on the 'under' rope, Carol was on the 'above' rope, and Viki was standing by with the sawhorse. We all lowered the nose, and celebrated with 'high-fives' from 1.5m spacings...

I unlocked the casters and trundled the plane back into the shed, using bits of scrap plywood over the gravel, and me lugging the nose, resting it from time to time on the sawhorse. The D thingies give good clearance for the turnover, but it is a bit low for working, so put the spar tips on sawhorses with a bit of polystyrene foam betwixt.

Roughly cut out 1.25" fuel drains with a utility knife, devised a shaving catcher from a bit of wire and a paper patty cake pan, and dremeled the edge. Peeled off a couple of plastic formers that were still stuck on the bottom of the strakes.

Climb underneath the plane and discover it is MUCH easier to access and see the top seam of the luggage area of the strakes. Spend some time making a light stand that will allow a worklight.

Start to smooth the join between the strake top and fuselage on the inside.
