A mate has lent me a small 12V sealed lead acid battery he uses for electric fences for stock. With more confidence I will not have to blow anything up I hook the capacitance fuel probe/control unit to this and run through the calibration process a few times until I am fully convinced the installation is good.
Installed the starboard probe with very dry EZpoxy flox around the edge of the flange
Planked the starboard leading edge, fitting the foam strips with wet MGS micro, down to the vertical face.
