Looked in detail at diagram 21-03 section C-C for the first time and was staggered to see a diagram of a flox corner that challenges my preconceptions, based on CH04 Page 3. I have probably overfilled every flox corner I've made since then... Cut flox corners everywhere that seems relevant.
Decide the gauges look a bit exposed, so make up some tapered foam blocks to fair them in to the leading edge of the sump tank, and the leading edge of BAB. The fuselage side looks OK.
Note the leading edge is supposed to be fitted with a flox corner, which isn't possible now, so hog out my planking and prepare for a tape, inside and out, to the fuselage side.
Prep sand the vent lines, smoke oil feed pipe, and surrounding glass. Hot glued the vent lines to the top of the spar.
