Made a test piece to try out the method I intend. Sanded a groove into a bit of scrap wing foam and applied 2 x BID. Felt quite naughty not prepping the foam with micro, but I'm using Norglass resin. Clamped the BID with a bit of 25mm OD conduit.
Took a small section of schedule 40 PVC, Roughed up one end inside and out. Filled the cap of a packet of dremel exploding cutting discs with flox and bunged it on the end. This overfilled the tube, the next should have the cap about 2/3 filled to make it work properly.
I had made too much resin, so decided to evaluate the norglass resin for filling. Made up some really dry micro and spread it over a test patch inside the turtleback, using a 6mm notched spreader.
