Had decided some time ago to fit fairings to the fuselage inboard of the elevators, and to close up the gaps under the canard. [Timewarp 15AUG21: Don't do this yet if you want a front hinged canopy. Uli Wolters plans at 18-14 have 3 x UND over the fuselage top, overlapping the sides by 6", which will be under this fairing. I'm living with it, but you don't have to...]
Fixed blocks of wing foam to the fuselage inboard of the elevators with urethane bond glue.
On cure, over a couple of days shaped it, taped over the elevators and canard and made a fillet from modelling clay between the lower surface of the canard and the fuselage.
2 x BID overall, overlapping onto taped canard and elevators. Peel plied edges.
