Brief Description:  Right Aileron hardware

Aileron popped off nicely. Trimmed layup, cleaned hinge and reinstalled Aileron with torque tube on. I have cut up a CS121 I have made but don't really need yet to make the CS151 torque tube I need now. It sits nicely 1/4" from the inner rib, under the bearing. Universal joint boot contacts inside of torque tube on forward and upper face. Attachment bolt contacts upper side.

Spent some time planning the task sequence.

Jigged Aileron with leading edge level with A10 end under drill press and drilled one side of tube with 1/8" drill. Refitted uni joint and spotted through existing hole with 1/8" drill. Removed it and drilled out in drill press both sides in v blocks. Refitted and drilled A10 through other side. Holding one side with cleco drilled A10 and uni to 4.6mm. Fitted a 3/16" cleco, and drilled out the other side. Reamed both together to 3/16", and fitted AN3-11 bolt and hardware nut.

Repeat for the other side of the uni to CS151.

Refit Aileron and mark CS151 0.2" from CS151 and cut. Note that AN3-11 bolt shank uni/CS151 interferes with Aileron skin. Shank of A10/uni bolt fowls upper surface of torque tube hole.

Jigged CS132 in desired location, removed root bearing and marked CS152/CS151.

Refitted uni/CS151 bolt head downward and clearance resolved.

Drilled/reamed remainder of hardware and Aileron works back to the CS127 belcrank.
