Brief Description:  Wing jigs #2, the next wing

Stored Right Wing. As mentioned previously, my TC has suggested he would like to inspect the Shear Web before the RFC 4/5 are stuck back on, so I stop work on the Right Wing now, and work up the Left Wing to the same point. Quite a few have suggested in forums and on their websites that it is best not to leave too long between the same tasks for Left/Right, so mistakes/learned techniques can best be managed.

Started setting up jigs for Left Wing. Had a bugger of a time sorting out which way to put things, I have an overwhelming urge to build another Right Wing, which may affect handling and complicate installation. This tendency will have to be monitored and overcome at every stage. Note that bondo/5min flox/hot glue has pulled bits off my new floor. No point fixing it until the Left Wing is at the same stage.

Hot glued square pieces of chipboard to the non-prop side of the Jigs so I can free-stand them in position and check alignment. Pulled them off again and put them on the REAL non-prop side of the jigs, which are in a different position to last time. F*&k!!!

Hot glued 45 degree blocks to the jig and the floor for mounting the props, and square blocks to the bottom of the jigs. [Timewarp 11JAN: Pull them off again and glue them to the jigs on the upper side, which are in a different position to last time. F*&k!!!!!!]

Wasn't convinced I'd got it right and downed tools, decided anything else I do today I'll probably screw up too.

Jigs still lined up prettily, with the blocks glued on the wrong side. [Sigh]
