Brief Description:  Right Wing Shear Web

Marked 45 degree lines on the Shear Web area.

Masked under the Spar Cap line with masking tape with plastic attached.

Prepped foam and layed up 6 x UND @ 45 degrees. 2 plies full span, 2 from the root to 39" from tip, 2 from the root to 91" from the tip. Plans show this working with whole pieces of UND, but all plies needed a bit from the scrap box to make it. Noticed afterward I had not left the 45 degree angle bare foam on the first piece, which may account for it. Right wing will be a few grams heavier than the right.

1.2kg of resin used. New mini scales made it easier to make the last couple of batched really small to minimise wastage, it goes to .01g tolerance. It only has a maximum of 200g, so I'll keep using the big one, and have this one as a backup and for small batches.

Didn't pre-cut any glass as suggested by the plans, dispensing from the roll on wheels worked really well with little trimming afterwards and only a few inches spotted with epoxy on the clean roll. I do expect there will be the need for cleaning up the edges with the multitool like the Spar. Did have problems with the pointy corners of the jigs snagging the UND, will sand a rounded edge for the next wing, stuck some tape on the corners this time.

Could not see an easy way to peel ply around the BID pads/metal and had forgot to prep the metal, so will install after cure. Maybe. Seemed the Spar Caps will be easier to dam without them. Haven't made up my mind.
