Brief Description:  Wing CS Spar upper cap

Removed the clamps, and the strips didn't fall off. Sanded the upper surface with 40g.

Put the plans 12 x UNI tape over all, and the troughs were not quite full, one more did it, then plans amounts filled the caps nicely. A hard and long layup, much harder and longer than the Canard Spar Caps.

Was rather difficult to run the tape around the corner, but I discovered by accident it worked best with the red cut-thread on the inside of the curve, laying the centre part first, then the cut-thread edge at the ends, and then pull the UNI fibres at the trailing edge ends to make them lay down. Just enough resin to hold the UNI in position then remove the cross threads. They wet out enthusiastically and waste resin if you put too much. Regardless, used 2.1kg of resin!!!

Started the layup after work when already tired and was f*&ked by the end. Had to put the heater on when the temp went south of 20 degrees

Sorry, photos a bit blurry.
