Brief Description:  Wing CS Spar internal layup

Trimmed layup.

Drilled electrical cable holes through CS6/6.5/7 and hogged out the foam with dremel. Filled resulting trench with dry micro.

Stapled duct tape onto back of CS4 joins, leaving 1/4" gap. Applied micro, then 1 x BID and peel ply over all, (rather than plans 1" border).

Tried injecting slurry into dubious bits of internal layup with mixed results, and was unable to drill into sides. Cut BID at the end of the BID reinforcement on the right tip, between the hard points, took hold of the dodgy layup and tugged at it expecting it come clean away. It did not. Some of the BID came off the micro, with no difference between dry and good bits. Some of it failed at the foam, leaving gouges but it was very difficult to remove, and needed heat to get it off in other than individual fibres. Brilliant! Will proceed as intended with this bit, but leave the other internal layup as is!

Filled gouges in the foam with dry micro.
