Brief Description:  Wing CS Spar internal layup

Micro'd internal spar.

Strangely, the first layup, 1 x BID overall, is called "layup 2" in the instructions. FAQ notes this, but doesn't attempt explanation.Tried transferring internal 1 x BID using usual peel ply, then plastic. Absolutely f@cking hopeless. Tried supporting sides with nails, but it just kept falling off. Got the first bit up eventually, then cut the next bit in half figgering it would be easier, but it wasn't. Tried tacking the un-wet BID to the top of the sides with nails and wetting it out, and it worked a lot better, but still tended to fall off. Most difficult. Probably a crap layup to attempt for the first one in over a year.

Mounted CS6/6.5/7, (using micro. plans quaver between micro and flox, but I figure with only I x BID it doesn't matter which. No help from the email forum on this issue), secured with nails, and applied 1 x BID reinforcement/taping. Just placing them dry and wetting out in place worked fine.

Got confused with inboard 3 x UNI reinforcement, but figured it should be centered on the hard point so removed and replaced it correctly. Outboard 3 x UNI done, all placed dry and wet out in place one ply at a time.

Placed LWA1 with flox, as planned, located with 1/2" brads with the heads cut off, and 1 x BID over each.

Had hoped to 1 x BID the CS4 as well, but am completely knackered and just won't!
