Brief Description:  Wing CS Spar jig

Trial assembled jig. trapped D between nails into table and held it vertical with brackets, (until the bondo's in). Assembled the rest, measurements are all reasonable, but there is a low spot on the R diagonal of D, and the tips are still at different heights. Still don't understand. I communicated with another Oz builder last night on how much accuracy to build in, and was encouraged to keep working on this

Note that the tips of D are proud of the bench by 0.1", yet the table is flat. Edge of the flooring sheet is not straight!!!

Roughed out the base of D into a straight line then have a big ponder at the plans, and it occurs to me there is no measurement on the plans for what height the shelf should be, as the 5.04" for the diagonal has been cut off and binned. Its easy enough to figure out though, 12.5" - 5.04" = 7.46". My D on the R side is 7.5", L is 7.36". Redraw all the lines and discover 1" error in the start of the L diagonal. F*&k!

PLAN:

Trim R side, which will eliminate the perceived flat spot.

Trim L side and pack with something, probably thin ply.

Redraw edge shelf lines.
