Brief Description:  Ballast Compartment

Conclusions on nose bowl.

Assembly is warped, and will not fit on the airplane. It is too heavy, and now I look hard at the gap between the nose bowl and the bulkheads, it is just too crappy an example of workmanship to fly. If anybody was in doubt, the plans method looks much easier than the crappy pre-fab, and it won't save any time either. With the rubber seal fitted, and the window, and the planned ringbolt to extract the ballast there is just not enough room for 3 cans. Having made this decision I feel pretty happy. In service 1 x Guinness can and 1 x 375ml can of lead will be enough. First flight I will need more, but it can go aft of F-0, as others have done. Lets cut this f(**&er up!

I will make more templates so the next effort fits better, and assemble it on the airplane, so warping is not a factor.
