Broke off backing plates, detaching hinges from hardpoints in the process. Drilled 1/8" pilot holes for alignment and refitted door with tempo wood screws.
Cleaned up excess micro from the hardpoints.
Trimmed PORT door and surrounds.
5-min backing blocks to PORT door, using wood screws in foam for alignment rather than plasticine.
Rounded off upper edges of hardpoints for hinge clearance. primed back of backing plates, (forgot for STBD side).
Prepped Al, drilled, floxed and rivetted hinge halves and backing plates to door. In the process the *&^%ing backing plates fell off. Refitted with hot glue.
Hogged out some more bottom for hinge clearance and the hardpoints.
Hot glued Al spacers to hinges then 5-min hinges to hardpoints in position.
After cure remove all and 5-min inserts to hardpoints.
