Brief Description:  Shaping the nose

Retracted nose gear to check SC fit and notice I have achieved a lovely fore/aft curve of the lower nose, but it is nowhere near flat laterally. Also the nose strut is not parallell to the bottom, possibly from trying to retract it that extra 1/4". Examining plans I also, also note the bottom should be flush with the bottom of SC, and it ain't.

Decide it will need more work, and I'll need a longer sanding board to do it. Levelled the fuselage. then made a 900mm sanding board with a bubble level attached, and flatted the bottom to the nose strut/SC, and faired in the new bottom curve.

Bitterly regret the spare micro I put in yesterday and am having trouble sanding off now.
