Brief Description:  Fitting Nose Gear and Rudder Pedals

Trimmed the Nose Gear inner Cover, then spent ages and cause some damage getting the plug out. Idea worked, but a bit marginal. Would have worked better if I cut the sides as well so am removing smaller bits. Part is usable, so no need for more work on this from me.

Plans say to flox it on, but don't see enough contact area for this to be needed. Secured in place with nails placed in Fuselage bottom and taped it to the fuselage with 1 x BID, 2" wide, in small lengths, like the Main Undecarriage Cover flanges, Hicks method. Rather than flox, will tape it from the inside, (inside of the cover that is, the outside of the plane), later, when I get my head around doors.

Checked the location for the Master Cylinder bottom brackets and drilled them and the hardpoints. Floxed them on, then discover my rivetter head is too wide to reach the center and forward holes. Poo. Drilled some new holes and installed remaining rivets. For some reason the proper AN rivets mandrel broke 0.2" above the rivet, will have to grind them off.

Tried to tape them down with rolled 3 x UNI. Didn't work so cut them up into strips, which worked but looks ugly. Peel plied edges.
