Brief Description:  Nose Strut wrap and NG-30

Still itchy.

Cut out NG-30. Was really uncertain how to actually do it. Jack Willemson advised to use the original pattern, to allow access to the limit switches, but still add the extra UNI plies from the newsletter. Fitting in the brake reservoir and the t-piece, (which I don't have yet), are a factor too. Can't get my head around the geometry of it all, so will go back to plan A, make it as per the newsletter, with the profile adjusted to fit the brake reservoir on F-5. Also figure I can overlap the reservoir bracket onto the nose foam above F-5. Also figure I can make my own FG bracket. This is getting exciting! If I can't access the limit switches through a hole bored in NG-30 I'll make it again. New method, rather than cutting out the shape I left it on a sheet of paper and marked the foam with a pattern marker wheel. Worked well.

Mounted NG-1 on a wood block, layed up 1 x BID over AFT face, sides and ends, then peel ply.

Stapled on a bit of peel ply, micro'd the surrounding foam and layed up 2 x BID over it on the outside of NG-30 with peel ply.

Flipped the NG-30, micro'd the foam, marked the drilling locations, and layed up 4 x BID over all with peel ply. Wasted a bit of glass by trying to do it over both at once. Will do the other side separately.
