Brief Description:  Trimming Elevator top skin layup

Trimmed PORT Elevator & prepared flox corner with dremel.

Sanded transitions, then sanded both fairly aggressively, until most of the weave has disappeared. Might have to do more.

Didn't see the point of filling the TE overlap joggle at this point. Will leave it for finishing, enabling use of West system epoxy, which I have no use for at the moment.

Played with fitting MKNC-12A to other hardware. Torque tubes are OK, but is a tight fit for the spool piece. Will not go in easily, maybe I should have got the CG spool piece??? Didn't see the point at the time, but it appears they have left that end big, maybe to avoid a sloppy fit. Will need to adjust, that end won't go into the torque tubes either.

Fitted CS-11 to MKNC-12A, FT tension (Finger Tight).

Cut spool piece to length with plumber's tubing cutter.
