Brief Description:  Preparing for Canard upper spar cap

Silly bugger, didn't read the plans and broke the canard off the jigs, then had to replace it. It seemed convenient to trim everything while it was off, so did that first.

Trimmed lower skin layup.

Cut LE along tape line and sanded to a thin edge with random orbit sander and sanding board.

Trimmed TE and sanded to a straight edge with sanding board.

Bondo'd on 40mm PVC pipe made of 1m sections joined by turned wooden blocks. Made this last year in my building pause.

Bondo'd on 6 jig blocks, levelled with packing wedges, (plans says 4, then harps on about how straight everything has to be so I chucked a couple of extras in. May just regret it when cleaning off the bondo). All level, inline and lovely.
