Brief Description:  2nd torsional layup

In preparation, drilled 5/32" injection hole into voids under the conduit BID port side, and a 1/16" breather hole. A micro slurry draws up fine into the syringe, (without a needle my syringes fit snugly into the 5/32" hole), and fills the void nicely. Later discovered small voids starboard side, when I had thickened up the micro. Dry micro won't draw up, but you can trowel it into the top of the syringe with the plunger removed and it injects just as easy as the slurry. Now realise I could have saved a lot of weight by injecting dry micro into the voids from CH07 rather than raw epoxy. Am now wondering if the micro will go through a needle, so needing a smaller injection hole. Almost looking forward to my next void!!!

Second torsional layup 4 x UNI. My trailing edge over the conduit is longer than plans, but the 12" strips covered the area. Used 15 strips, leaving one for the offcut bag. A break with my tradition, only peel ply the exposed edge along the trailing edge at the edge of the strut, the strip joins, and the area around the Attachment Tabs.

Floxed LB-19 hardpoint and LB-24 Hinge to Landing Brake.

T'was by far the filthiest day's laying up I've done, got epoxy all over me. after a shower and change had a thought, and applied cling wrap to the underside of the trailing edge, (outside the conduit area), to help it, um, cling. Had previously asked the question with CozyBuilders on how the area outside of the conduit should be treated, with no intelligible response. Looking at other's websites, will be happy if I can sand a smooth transition on the trailing edge, as most others seem to have allowed the UNI to dangle vertically downward, then sanded it to profile. Any curve and TE profile I get is a lovely bonus. Bring your dog around, I'll give him a bonus too. [T'dish, ting, boom].

[Timewarp 15/01/15 - Should have put a drop cloth on bench, absolutely trashed with dripping and trimmings. Cling wrap left pretty ugly surface, try over peel ply next time]
