Leafing through the plans I found some more templates I needed: the straight cut, J jig and the elevator travel thingie. Scanned the bigger ones and off to work to print on a bigger printer.
Made a wire saw to the pattern proposed by Mike Skorija (Dust). The centre part is 70 x 35mm pine, the arms 20mm mild steel tube. One arm will be spring loaded so wire tension will not require adjustment as the temperature changes. My son, and occasional build partner, Grant has a variac. Will get a spring from Bunnings Aerospace and wait for the wire from my next ASS order.
