Brief Description:  Prepare MLG strut

Cut MLG Box to length on PORT side.

Sanded strut dull with 40G USING random orbit sander.

Mounted strut leading edge down, 5-min/floxed to three 75x3mm nails hammered into the bench.

Trimmed last fuselage reinforcement. Left it a bit rough around the strut, make it nicer later.

Started to cut UND for Strut torsional wrap, ran out of UND after 5, need another 8.

As reported earlier, I lost my medical about a month ago, and am still awaiting news from our esteemed regulator, CASA, (Committee Against Safe Aviation). They don't seem to be in any hurry. Not spending any money on the project until I get SOME news on whether I will get my medical back. Cardiologist and DAME say I'm good, but it is the regulator who decides, so we will wait and see.

Bugger: Project on hold.

Bugger, somebody has some wing foam, brakes and a lecky nose gear to sell me.

Next job, make up my next shopping list.

Next, next job, Still have some MLG bulkhead holes to open up, and I haven't removed the glass/urethane from the electrical channel yet. Bit of flox to clean up on strut.
